Forgot Your Nickname Password?

If you've forgotten your nickname password, don’t worry! You can reset it by following these steps.

🔹 Steps to Reset Your Password

1️⃣ Request a Password Reset Type the following command to receive a reset email:

/msg NickServ SENDPASS YourNickname

2️⃣ Check Your Email HybridIRC will send you an email with a reset code. 🔹 If you don’t see it in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder.

3️⃣ Reset Your Password Use the reset code from the email to set a new password:

/msg NickServ SETPASS YourNickname reset_code new_password

4️⃣ Regain Access to Your Nickname Log in using your new password:

/msg NickServ REGAIN YourNickname new_password

🔹 Important Notes

• Ensure your registered email is active and correct.
• The reset code is time-sensitive (expires in 24 hours).
• If you don’t receive the email, check your spam/junk folder.

🔐 Account Recovery

If you are unable to reset your password, we can assist with account recovery. Please email support@hybridirc.com with the following details:

• ✔️ Your account name
• ✔️ Any other nicknames you’ve used or grouped
• ✔️ Any email addresses that may have been used for registration
• ✔️ The IP address used for registration or last login
• ✔️ Any other information that could help the team investigate your account
