HybridIRC began its journey in 2017, founded by a passionate group of volunteers dedicated to creating a reliable and dynamic IRC network. Their vision was to foster a space where communities could connect, share, and grow.

After two years of development and refinement, HybridIRC officially opened its doors to the public in January 2019. Since then, it has been committed to providing a user-friendly and secure platform for communication, driven by the support and enthusiasm of its vibrant user base.
